Revenue sharing

All fees collected from the platform are distributed continuously to prANA holders. The platform revenue is paid out in ANA and NIRV, depending on the fees collected. The purpose of sharing revenue is to provide incentives for long-term holders of ANA. As staked ANA earns prANA rewards, these prANA tokens earn shares of revenue. The more prANA an investor acquires, the greater their share of revenue.

Revenue sources

Revenue is derived from the following fees:
  • Buying and selling ANA through the market (paid in ANA)
  • NIRV origination (paid in NIRV)
  • prANA execution (paid in ANA)
  • Withdrawing collateralized (“staked”) ANA (paid in ANA)

Revenue distribution

Revenue is distributed continuously to prANA holders. The amount of revenue each user earns is proportional to their amount of deposited prANA.

Revenue and yield estimation

For the purpose of an example estimation, assume the following:
  • ANA does $5M volume per day
  • The trade fee is 0.3%
  • $100k NIRV loans are originated daily
  • The NIRV origination fee is 1%
In this modest example, the daily revenue is $16k per day, annualized to $5.84M per year. The amount of this $5.84M that an individual prANA holder earns is proportional to their share of the total amount of prANA deposited. If they have a larger share of the total deposited prANA, they will earn more revenue.
